Here are some examples of things we will be doing week to week:

Week 1 and 2:  The puppies will be handled, cuddled, picked up and turned over while gently speaking to them. This continues until the puppy goes to their new home. We also run our fingers over ears, gums and paws to get them comfortable with touch for you and your vet.

Week 3: Start introducing puppy to common household noises such as vacuums, washer/dryers, hair dryers, etc.  This continues until 8 weeks adding sounds as we go.

Week 4: Introduction to crate and new people and places that are safe due to incomplete vaccines.

Week 5 and 6:  Start potty training at night.  Puppies go out twice a night to "go potty". Car rides introduced at 6 weeks to help prevent car sickness.

Week 7: Continue with all of the above and introduce the leash at this time.

Week 8: Puppies join their new families!!!
